To launch the 2011 Spring Summer Collection of rainwear, apparel and accessories for Burton, we developed a gear recommendation application that served up the most relevant gear based on weather. By evaluating temperature and conditions, gear was recommended not only for it's function but also to match the vibe of the day. Sunny days produced brighter color recommendations, cloudy days produced darker color results. To bring it all together we also did a photo shoot that visualized the weather conditions.
